Got it from fellow reefer in a tank set package. Using my old return pump and selling this DCT-4000 for $60.
Tested and working well. Collection in woodlands.

Upgraded my Pico to a 2 ft. Moved the corals to new tank and are good. Got confidence to add more corals progressively.
Looking for LPS like torch, frogspawn, blastos, brain etc.
Pls whattsapp pictures and price for me. Staying in North. West and North areas preferred.

Hi Bro,Does anyone have any spare Berghia nudibranchs or eggs to sell?Need them to handle aiptasia outbreak in my tank.Copperband,butterflyfish & aiptasia eating filefish not reef safe.Tried peppermint shrimp shown in pic and works but quickly eaten by wrasse.PM me if u can help me or u have any other advice of natural predator other than using chemicals like Red Sea Aiptasia X/lemon juice/etc or removing the live rocks out for deconamination,thanks a lot fellow reefers
The second picture looks like a serious infestation.
If the infested rocks have no corals on it, I would suggest to remove and dry the rocks in hot sun to kill those buggers.

Thanks for reading. As of now, it is not yet conclusive of how long the air pump or the air stone will last. Will update later.

Since I have removed the skimmer from the sump, I decided to scrap off the surface of the air-stone with a pen knife. Need to be carefull with the knife when scrapping the surface. After scrapping, the air-stone looks like new to my eyes. Need to wait again to see how far it goes.

Bottle collecting skimmate:

As of the first few weeks, the skimmer is producing skimmate consistently. The skimmer body as well as the bottle gets good skimmate on weekly basis.

Nearing to 2 months. Thought of giving an update. I haven't changed the air stone or the air pump. So it is still waiting period to know when I need to change either.

Ambient temperature will influence heat build up. Wind flow will help heat dissipation through evaporation. Evaporation result in water loss and change in parameters.
Nothing wrong to try without any livestocks to understand how the above influences in your location.

I got the air stone from Clement 328. I can it available most of the times I have been thereYeah, before that was thinking of buying a nano Skimmer, now maybe I can build one myself.

Think should be workable if the flow rate suits the reactor media requirements. All the best. I see more satisfaction when 'Made by me/us' is working in our tank.
Definitely the efficiency is questionable... Same goes to branded.
