  3. Anybody interested in the T5 DIY kit ? It is brand new - not even used yet. A new set is 85 bucks. 2 set is 170. I am interested in selling both at 100. Have some free gift also ...
  4. Nobody interested in the 250 ballast ? Just buy a casing with an FC2 connector with a lamp of course and you are ready to see your sps color up ... those with a 150 W fixture lagi better ... just buy a FC2 connector and replace your connector with the FC2 connector and you can interchange them anytime you want to use them. The sanders protein skimmer I have used it as a backup - nobody interested also ? .. I have used it as a backup and for curing my LIVE ROCK as I changed them regularly. Cheap and reliable skimmer to have, aquatechnic have been using them for majority of their tank. Nobody buying backup ?
  5. Auto Topup device with soleniod sold. Thanks for reading Status update.
  6. A brief summary about the topup device. Those who are using RO system can automate your water topup for your tank as it is designed for a RO system in mind. It consist of dual float switch which means if one float switch is down there is still another float switch - pretty fail safe. The circuitry comes in a casing which consist of 1 main circuitry on/off switch and 1 on/off switch for activating the topup in case you need to collect some spare water in another container - you can activate this switch which will ignore the float switch water level. There is also an LED to indicate topup is in progress. It is pretty simple The circuitry is using DC current so there is no danger of electrocution or whatsoever. The Soleniod is sold for about $80 or so - stated in the RS website. When the water level is low in your tank - both the float switches is lowered and it activates the soleniods which is connected to the RO system water input pt. The soleniod detecting the current will open up the valve to allow water to be pushed into the RO system which will then moved the water into your tank. IF only one float switch is detected - it will not activate the soleniod. The soleniod is in a default OFF position - meaning no water is flowing thru if there is no current to the soleniod. When a circuitry fails - the soleniod will not have any current and thus will not autofill that tank with water. Somebody ask me about whether this can use to power a pump instead- the answer is no becasue it activates a DC current only as AC is needed to power the pump unless you can find a DC pump otherwise AC is pretty dangerous if there is a leakage current. I am bundling the sale with a soleniod to be used with this circuitry ($80) - I have used this for about 1.5 to 2 yrs and it has never fail before. Those with big tanks should consider auto top up not from your container but direct from the waterpipe - to do away all the mundane task and give you more time to calibrate other more important parameters. If you still dont feel safe about having a automated water filling system- you can manual turn on and off the device without any worries. At least you dont need to carry any pails rdgs
  7. JC, I have made a typo mistake, it is not a retrofit it is a DIY T5 kit. In my last status update I have made the changes. cheers
  8. The tunze is equivalent to sold unless the buyer backout. With regards to your chiller giving off heat ...jem is right. All chiller gives off heat but I compare this unit with my Teco TW6 - the teco gives off more heat beucase it is rated at 420Watt whereas the AZOO is only rated at 240 watt. The unit is currently reserved.
