    Sorry forgot to mention. I have not changed any of the cartridges as yet as the TDS reading is still zero in the output. So probably it will last at least 4 to 5 years more as our sources is not that dirty as compared to US.

    FYI, The unit will help you to eradicate all your silicate, nitrate and PO4 problem from your water supply which feeds the diatoms. So don't ever think that your water supply is clean - they contained tons of lizard shits .... etc ;)

    I have used the set for less than 2 years. It comes in a 6 stages RO and DI filtration but I have used 5 stages as the last stage is for drinking purposes. I have bought 3 years supply of cartridges. It can provide up to 100 gallon Per day. The RO membrane can last for 5 years based on 100 gallon.

    Uses :

    I have used this set for auto-topup of my marine tank. Having RO is the only way to have auto-topup as it is connected directly from your house water pipe. You need a solenoid and a Relay circuit with float switches to turn off/on the soleniod once the water fill up to a certain level in your tank so that it will stop pushing water to your RO unit. Those who are still in the hobby should consider one - have more time for enjoyment. So far it has been my most value added investment.

    No doubt - the water wastage is high .. but I have pushed the water to my washing machine. Your relay circuit should have a freedom to turn on/off incase you want to control the water outlet.

    Pls take note the TW6 is 1st owner .... working perfectly as I have given up everything. Used for about 2 years plus.
