Could be you moved it too frequent, cause too much stress. Usually, the blasto start to rot from the mouth when under stress. Btw, the above just guessing only, you maybe wanna to show me a pic? You target feed them huh?? what you feed them? Any crabs sighted in your tank? they could be one of the culprit too.
