  1. Anemone, I have a 10kg grade 1 coralsand which I did not use. Maybe I can trade it with you? I am looking for some mushrooms and polyps... what a concidence! I PM you...
  2. agree with *dlareg* Geoliquid makes the water clear... but I dun understand how its "mechanisms" work... how does it really makes impurities "disappear"? so I stay away from it till I understand the product better... Anyone can enlighten us?
  3. I've been searching high and low at all LFS but couldn't get my hands on any Royal Gramma... Anyone giving up his or knows which LFS has them at the moment? Cheers!
  4. joncver, you lucky bastard... Slightly out of topic... but I have a friend who is so bird craze he converted one of his HDB room into a walk-in aviary... Wonder what HDB would have to say about that? Maybe they would start a rule like this... "The maximum weight of the total number of birds (inclusive of bird shit and chickens) must not exceed 600 kg per room. Chickens refer to real fowl and not those you see at Geylang."
  5. There is a rule stated by HDB with regards to tank size. Please refer to below website: http://www.hdb.gov.sg/ISOA040p.nsf/0/fde4f...a5?OpenDocument You can do a 7 feet but very troublesome... must apply permit from HDB It says: "The maximum weight of the total number of fish tanks (inclusive of water, sand and accessories) supported on a four-legged rack or cabinet must not exceed 600 kg per room." HOW THEY MEASURE.... I REALLY WONDER MAN?!!!!?!?! This is all thanks to the stoopid Luo Han craze lah when everyone starts putting a tank in their HDB flat... HDB scared too many people have too many fish tanks and the whole flat collapse lah... BTW, I not from HDB
  6. IMO. In my old tank, I used to have a diadem dottyback and it took a big bite off the fin of my clarkii clown... ferocious fellow... Best of all, the diadem dottyback marked off a massive part of the live rocks as his territory! Wah lao...
  7. Ok... I will pass off the flames or any other angels... Damsels or Dottybacks... Nay, they are too aggressive. I am thinking of these few... 1) Clarkii, Ocellaris or Maroon 2) Firefish Goby 3) Royal Gramma (Damn hard to get.... most LFS dun have them... anyone seen any lately or anyone giving up theirs?) 4) Chromis... 5) Blennies... Any other recommendations for reef fishes that are peaceful and suitable for my kind of tank?
  8. Hi! I have a 24 x 18 x 18 tank w a DSB of 4'. I am setting up a FOWLR aquarium and would like to consider fishes suitable for my tank size. I am thinking of a dwarf angel (perhaps a bicolor or flame), would this be appropriate? What other fishes would you recommend esp the colourful ones?
