  1. Ohh icic .. OK I shall see how .. if still fighting maybe will give up the small one n look for a bigger maroon clown :) .. cause only 1 clown in a tank cannot compare to a pair of clown fish in a tank haha

one last method is buy twenty new clown and add all of them in... then the old clown will be blur...
  2. Won't be the bigger clown already not juvenile? Both not a juvenile stage is it more harder to pair ?

Juvenile or not does not matter ah. As long as it is still male can liao.

99% of the time if u add a new and smaller size clown to an existing clown, it will be bullied and killed... so better chance is to add a bigger size one.

Clown can take years to turn to female so chances of u buying a mid size clown which is female is low.

  3. Yes I have LR and bb media. So should I buy normal sand or live sand. Cos doesn't live sand have bacteria to help start up tanks. So it's OK to put live sand?

For established tank live sand or normal sand does not diff much. Personally i would buy normal but wash them with tap water till running water is clear. Then soak in WC tank water for a day then can change liao.

Keything here is that u would want to distrub ur current bb eco too much at one go.

  4. 06/04/15 - Stupid Mistakes We Made

As usual, FTV to kick start the update

    post-5037-0-31968100-1428289119_thumb.jp

    Synopsis of my stupid mistake:

    -Back from overseas trip

-Small HOB Canister (linking two FR and UV) not pumping

    -Pumped it

    -Tank smell like century eggs

-Flame angel spinning right in front of me, Anthais grasping for air at water surface

    -Do a 40% WC

    -Add AC

    -Flame angel mati, anthais suvived

    - I cry cry cry

Other than that, the rest of the LS are doing fine. The only new coral I added in in the last three weeks is a red cocoa worm. I think I can still find space for a small yellow cup coral which I have not seen in LFS for the last 6 months.

SPS wise, the usual suspects are still growing, cant wait till the day I can trim my Jade Green Digitata and I swear, the polyp is blue ah.

The zoas surrounding the FF is growing at a crazy speed.
