Unable to take a clearer pic coz its at e back of e tank I try to give a brief description instead... - its grown on e rock of my star polyps - when it is feeding, it has tentacles like prata - no big base like e cynarina or prata...maybe still 'young' - i saw it b4 at Jireh show tank, there are quite a few of them grown together tats all i can tink of at e moment.... cheers

for PL, u may wan 2 try reborn, or petmart.... for T5 diy, look for Dr evil under DE lightings in e forum

Hi bro, welcome to reefing...a hobby tat requires lots of $$ n time i dun tink there are any powerful 1.5ft lights ard... e best option will be a PL lights or u may wan 2 consider using an oversized 2ft T5 HO for ur tank tink it will be more efficient and cost effective n ur corals will be happier may look a bit weird... but if its in a nice casing, should be ok

why not u get a 2ft t5 ho?? tink it will be much better and cost effective i saw a fellow reefer using a 2ft t5 for his 1ft... juz put e light casing on top of e tank.. if u can get a 2ft casing with those adjustable legs, i can diy for you wif used parts...but will charge u student rate (can u visualise wat i m tryin 2 say, e legs can adjust to 1.5ft length and then stand on ur tank) cheers

hi bro hammy, e clam is doing fine, has grown by abit since i bought it 1mth ago 2 x 24w T5 HO should be ok, but i tink it also depends where u place e clam. if your tank has a 2ft height, i would suggest tat u place it in e middle to get more light unless u r using MH. for my case...my tank is only ard 1.3ft, so i place it on e sandbed. I tried placing it on top before, but it seems like there isn't much difference. fyi: bought e clam @ w*k**, not too bad price and nice looking
