Just passed by the tank today and frankly it was horrible with most of the coral receeded and dying. Doubt it'll stay there for too long at this rate.

Erm...torches and hammers do not really like direct strong flow...they'll do well better if you place them in an area with a gentle flow....enough to see their tentacles wave...

Am had a couple of frags of nice zoos last week....quite expensive i think.

Practically any kind of shrimps or crabs will do the joc since they are basically all scavangers. Just make sure the kind you are adding is reef sfe before you buy them.

Hrmz, many reefers recommand Salifert....but think some of the kits are in short supply right now. TM is good too....

Erm, a skimmer definately would not cause your "plants" which i presume are corals to lose their colour. How old is your tank? Maybe you could measure your water parameters and compare it with those you took before you added the skimmer.

Erm, i have a feelng your ANN cycle might not have even started yet. Will you be planning to add more LRs? Its better t add them all at one go when you 1st start the tank, adding any extra later will trigger another cycle in your tank again.
