i was planning to buy this tank to put in my office ... still wonder what can i keep in this tank ...
Crab?

reason i need acrylic is because i have got kids and babies at home. Sp acrylic is a better choice over glass.
I think I-aquatic dissolve already. checked with singtel, there is no such company listed.
Got a quote from Dama for 200+ for the 1.5 ft cube.
Considering if I shld get just a 24g glass tank from JBJ.less than 50% of the acylic tank price.......

still looking...
1) 1.5 ft cube tank
2) Chiller - Artica 1/15 HP or 1/20 HP, Ice Probe,
3) HOB filter - Deltec MCE 300, Remora or Tunze Reefpack 200
4) MH - JPJ Viper 70 or 150W, Any other clip on MH (not hanging ones)

Ooops....thought it is a 1 ft cube tank. Check out just now and thne know its a 1.5 G tank.
Yes, iskay Bro is right. Too small for Marine.
nice for a cute aquatic plant tank.

I think this tank is very bad for mother nature. Because of it's size and cost, clueless newbies will like to just try-out marine and that'll result in many LS dying and suffering.
what is the size of this tank?

Bro, I no expert. But if you are worried about the standard lighting fixture, why not consider DIY LEDs.... save electricity and space.
Cheers
I not good at DIYing leh. unless someone here can help me make which I dun think anyone will

My previous experinece was with a 6ft tank, 2.5 ft cube tank LPS many years ago. Both already decomm.
Coming back to start a new tank now that my life has stabilize a little.
Going to start a new tank. I have decided on Tunze Nano Reefpack 200
I am still open about the corals i am going to keep. probably some LPS and SPS. Very few fishes.
Gonna get the artica 1/15HP chiller as well.
Currently having dilemma on lighting and size of tank.
Initially wanted a 1.5 cube tank. But found very limited light sets available for this size. At the moment I am thinking of getting the JBJ Viper 70W, 14k MH(http://www.jbjlighting.com/prod-k2-viper.html) but the question is how do I control the photo period? Leave it on 8 hrs a day? Will it toast the corals in it? Without actinic, will it look pale? I prefer to use MH in combo with T5 tubes. Are there any such combo light fixtures that are of 1.5 ft?
Most of the other alternative models I saw are 24inches ones.
Because of that, I am thinking of resizing my tank to 24inch x 14 x 14 so that I can have more light fixtures to consider.
Last question : which nano wavemaker is suitable for a tank of this size? Will controllable one makes a lot of difference?
Sorry for the plentiful questions but rather ask now than be sorry later.
Would appreciate if the experts can help out here.

I'll never trust curved edges or bowfront tanks, glass or acrylic. Just an opinion.
reason i need acrylic is because i have got kids and babies at home. Sp acrylic is a better choice over glass.

Hi all bros and Sis.
I am searching for an acrylic tank maker. Looking to build a 1.5 cube tank with IOS if possible. else a simple cube tank will do.
i-aquatic (ian) is the ideal person but i think he has quit? website, email, mobile - all no longer working.
any recommendation?

Looking for the above mentioned to set up a cheap nano tank.
