ncie set up dude, i currently have a five foot tank with a 2 foot sump. and i really want to set up a refugium..... do i really need a refugium? it seems to do wonders for the corals and LS in the tank and i want whats best for my tank! my current set up tank -> sump -> skimmer

hey all, my friend passed me what he called an elephant ear. but i'm having doubts over what it is. i've read people saying that you can feed the elephant ears, but mine doesnt seem to have a mouth... it looks like a mushroom, as it has a long stalk and then opens up like an irregular shaped mushroom. it's sorts brownish colour and has small tenticles that look like pimples on the top. these tenticles only open in the light. it has survived without any food and i was just wondering WHAT IS THIS? cuz i wanan know how i can look after it better would post pic, but i got no camera. pls help! thanks

i was looking thru your list of fishes, and i always thought that the picaso triggers were very agressive fish which would attack and haress anything smaller than them. how come you managed to house them with so many smaller mroe peaceful fish?

i'm pretty new to the fish scene in singapore too, and currently, i only know of three shops. reborn aquarium, this jalan kayu shop and another one in balestier... any other shops to recommend? how does one get to the pasir ris farmway?

hey dude, i know this is alittle off topic, but what is that green plat in your tank? i've been trying to get someone to sell me calupra to grown in my tank but the shops dont sell them. is that plant easy to keep? is it for feeding your tangs?

i've been feeding it small dried shrimp, which it greedily accepts. actually, the reason why im selling it is because it attacked and decapitated my spotted-sweetlips. The sweetlip had refused to accept any food from me and was, IMO, on the verge of starvation. (one week without food) so far the eel has never attacked any of my other fish and i reckon it only got the sweetlips cuz the poor chap was gonna die soon. ***correction, it isnt 45cm long (my bad) its about the length of a chopstick.

Hey all, I have to sell of my snowflake eel. its about 45 cm long and eats ALOT! This chap has alot of personality and swims around the tank very often. It is not afraid of humans and even welcomes me as he knows that its feeding time when people are near the tank. i dont have a picture of him, as i dont have a digi cam.
