little update sold some corals, and a little rescape.

used to use active carbon when i first started, but now i dont use it i didnt feel much difference with or without it, it does clear the brown colour of your water a bit. i only use bio balls, kent nitrate sponge and seachem phosguard nowdays.

very nice elegance though most ppl say elegance nowdays id not as hardy as they used to be, i got 2 in my tank that seems to do quite well. mine are short tenticles ones cost they are more hardier our is long ones so not too sure. beutiful though good luck

i was thinkin of adding a six line wrasse in the tank but unsure of if its reef safe or not ive been hearing some ppl six line pick on corals sometimes, any fellow reefer ever have any problem with them?

been with me for bout 3 months... did have a pair but ever since i bought it i only saw the second one 4 times... now i dont see it at all.
neither its dead, dying or jumped out of the tank im not too sure but the one in the photo comes out of the cave a lot.
prata eh should i feed it often?? ive been feeding it like twice a week

yea its a nano tank with canister setup... dont think i will try another canister setup though cleaning the canister is like a disaster....
lack of fishes as i sold my anemones and my clowns, only the firefish left.

i think aqua plus and a few other brands of conditioner makes skimmer go crazy, you can probably do small water change every few days using ro water to slowly dilute the problem ;;
i have same problem using aqua plus when i first started just let the cup fill and dump water out of it according to the official site guide... cant really c how someone can sit there doing that whole day though.

get a good brand test kits, i bought a prodec ammonia test kit which is totally useless from beginning till now it always show 0.5 ;;

isnt lionfish very dangerous, not only the poison but also it eats everything it can fit in its mouth??
wanted to get one but every shops says cant keep with other fish

yea but anytime they swim near the one with the anemones it will attack them chasing them away.... and kinda feel sad for them anyway so gave it away...
but clowns are related to damsels though so should be quite hardy anyway... rather than tangs... at least my tangs.....

i find clownfish easiest to keep..... my brown tang and hippo tang died yesterday due to ich.... the tank nitrate was off the roof yet my clownfish lives......
and its colour is getting darker too..... not to mention it eats like a pig ;;
ive had 4 clowns so far none of them died arrive badly wounded and white spots all over the body yet its the hardiest fish ive keep...... now i got to shop for other decent size fish for my tank... looks a bit dull with just my clown...
gave the other 3 away since i dont have enough anemones to keep them happy.

is all sea snail and conch good sand shifter?? and are all of them safe i have a hard time finding info on the conch.... plz help

not the best lighting i would say a 150w MH moozoo brand with 20k bulb.... though the bulb in my view isnt anywhere near 20k rating since its not that blue....
