You may DIY this Thermoelectric Chiller.
It is basically a Thermoelectric Chip running on 12V-15V DC, high current needed 4 Amp.
Definitely use for Mini Tank.
You may buy those DC supply mini fridge which cost less than $100.
They use thermoelectric chip as well.
Cheers.

They also say that the price can fetch as much as 200 bucks.
Anyway, my pink anemone is trying to adpat to my Tank.

2 PH = $80 Using 2200L/hr per PH
3. Coral Chip = $10 1 bag is more than enought as it is not so important.
4. Chiller = $1050 Reef Chiller 0.5HP
5. Coral sand = $10x10 bag =$100 for 4" sand bed
6. LR at least 80K x $6 = $480
7. Salts = No idea may be $50 is enough
8. Hydrometer = $16-$20
9. Timer = $17 cheapest I can find

I bought the same skimmer as Fuel last month.
It works well on my 4ft tank too.
Worth buying at such price.
Bubble produced are more refine and plenty.

Hi All,
Ocean currents has came back to me.
They are in the mid of redesigning the products.
New products will be cheaper and smaller.
This sound good to all hobbyist.
But new products will only be available in 3 months time.

You can use it with any tank size if you do not mind the size of the sotong.
BUt if you attach it with the Canister, it would not be advisable.
I feel that canister output is too weak.
-
WAHHHH the SOTONG (SCWD) is so big.
Never expect it to be that size.
I better find out the Ocean Current size too.
Andysho,
Price for the OC is more than double on the net.
I have contacted them to request for more discount for orders up to 10 pcs. Still waiting for their reply.
What interest me is that it can rotate and pulse the water output.
Get back to you once price is confirmed.

Roidan,
Does that mean your squid is attach to your Main return pump ?
Interesting ? May be should follow that.
Could you tell me roghtly the length and with of the SCWD ?
Thanks

I think 1 gallon = 3-4 litres.
Don know the exact decimal place.
Forgotten about Maths already.
-
Attach the bottom to the power head by rubber hose.
POwer head range should be 50 GPH - 1400 GPH.
The water will flow out from either the 2 holes in series alternately.
I am not sure what is the interval time.
-
Any one interested to join a bulk order for SCWD ?
If can get 10 pcs cost would be at S$78.
Delivery time would be 1 week.
The SCWD (pronounced squid) is a T-shaped device that mechanically oscillates a 3/4" input to two 3/4" outputs. It can handle up to 1400 GPH with a max pressure of 5 PSI and a minimum of 50 GPH. It can be plumbed externally or internally and is ideal for closed loop systems.
Please list your name below:

May be we should get one of the sponsors to bring these wave makers into Singapore. It looks better tha SCWD.
-
I could not fins the maker website.
But many online stores carry them such as below:
http://www.ereeftank.com/customer/home.php?cat=66
http://www.marinedepot.com/a_wm_oceancurrent.asp
Anyone interested to iniate a bulk order ?
I do not mind trying 1 or 2 models.

Saw this Macro Calcium reactor before at ML.
Becareful on the tubing, especially the CO2 tubing.
It looks cheapskate and thin.
I wonder if it can withstand the gas pressure.
You might not want to have CO2 leaking while you are sleeping.

Bwilly,
My Weipro also take almost a week to make KOPI.
But after I change to Turbo Skimmer from Octopus Bay,
it took only 2-3 days to make KOPI.
Comparing with my previous Weipro and Macro,
this new skimmer has more fine bubble.
So i guess it works better.
Worth the money rather than spending the high side of hundreds of bucks.
