Greatly appreciate all for sharing your experience. I will be patient and wait for 6 weeks before adding new fish into tank. And i learnt my lesson that QT is very critical to reduce intro of diseases. Keep fingers crossed it will work out fine for next wave of fishes. Thanks!

Hi, My 3FT tank of 3 Angels and 2 Tangs was completed wiped out by Ich and Brooklynella 2 weeks back. The tank was left running without any fishes but with some soft corals and two shrimps. Can any kind souls advise will the diseases die off by itself without any fish to host on for 2/3 weeks? Can I do a 20% water change and start buying new fish, do not want any unnecessary casualties. Thanks!!

Need advise from the kind experts here. I am a newbie and have recently bought a second hand 3ft x 1.5 ft x 2.5ft tank with sump and cabinet from a fellow reefer here. The current tank is still running with sand, live rocks and fishes. Intend to do fowlr. Is it possible to move the entire setup to my place without the need to cycle again? I plan to engage sgbros to move the tank. Probably need to drain off the water and put into jerry cans. Has any reefers here successfully shifted a mature setup over to new location and did not require cycling process again?

i tried feedin my father's grouper n large wrasse with freshwater shrimps....imo they can't survive too long around a few hours to a day...once they turns opaque it usually means de body of the shrimp is dying soon. den slowly the shrimp will die too... i feel it will make good food if yr fish eats it in a short time....

I have been hearing u guys say tat those smaller angels r not reef safe n they peck on corals. i wonder if they is any specific corals tat they peck on? Meantime my tank only has button polyps, mushrooms and tube worms..... i'm thinkin of gettin some small tangs n angels..will there be any problem? i dun keep hard corals....pls advice

i feed my 2 false percula, 1 maroon n 1 tomato clowns with frozen blood worms leh....n they still eat....anyone feed them with blood worms also??

i'm having de same problem wif my giant mushroom....it doesnt seem to do well.....whereas my other mushies like ricordea r doin fine n multiplyin......water parameters should b ok....i haven check my ammonia yet but no2 n 3 r ok.......do giant mushroom require strong lightin?

yah i've done so n removed de dead anemone...quite a lot of work....n did a water change....hopefully everything would be fine... going to give anemonies a miss n concentrate on gettin de conditions right n get some beautiful mushrooms.....=)

hmm... de anemone covered itself up till i cant c de tentacles n start rottin with whitish mushy mushy substance....den i never open up anymore....but so far my water no smell.....

Hi everyone.....i'm very new here....this is my first post so pls bear with any mistakes i've made.... I've recently set up a reef tank about 1 month n 1 week....gone tru de cyclin process n results r positive.... i've included some mushrooms n polyps plus some tube worms.....all have been doing well...mushrooms n polyps r reproducing ....recently i added an anemone inside ....it went into hiding undernealth my LRs....den now i tink its dead n stuck somewhere in de bottom of de tank i can't reach....can u all tell me y de anemone died out of no reason...n can i just leave it there to decomposed on its own? Furthermore i introduced 2 common clown a week ago n they din go to de anemone....n soon both got some white slime on de body n died....... wat's worse is tat at nite i can c many worms n small organisms roamin around de walls of my tank n on de corals......mainly transparent or white....r they harmful n how can i get rid of them? N a Xenia i bought around for 3 weeks started to die today....gettin very botak....so sad....dunno wats happenin to my tank???? Hopefully anyone here could answer my doubts....your help is very much appreciated sorry fer de long paragraph
