  1. more and more good food for your corals. no more chores for u as everything is mixed up providing a nurtritional and healthy meal for ur fishes and corals.
  2. Or u can email me at secret_cracker@hotmail.com Below is a pic of one package. shall give it a name. haaha.. it will be called X-factor. one package can last u one month. :> it is mixed of vege and meat u dun have to worry abt that whether ur fish and corals get a well balance meal. it is mixed of small to medium size particles. suitable for big and small fishes. can be use to target feed sun corals. I try it myself and it works better than brine shrimps becos it has small and big particles. so the small sun can get the small food and planktons while the bigger sun can get the bigger particles. feel me to pm me regarding any questions. I will delivered it to ur door step. FROZEN. :>
  3. Have been making my own reef food at home for sometime. very nurtritional ya.. it contains: -prawns -squids -cuttlefish -fish roe -fish meat -jellyfish -cockles -clams -mussels and other secret ingredients. haha...with zooplanktons, seaweeds, rotifers, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and reef plus all add into one. It is mixed with other vitamins. I am doing home delivery service for all reefers all there. pm me or sms me at 81968903 to place an order or ask for the price. thanks.
  4. aiyorh..it's pods la. No harm done there. in fact, it helps u to eat algae. If u dun like it, get a sand goby or mandarin. that will solve the prob.
  5. Hey, I will collect the shrimp and snail this weekend. haha. u can only make it on weekend right cos that's wat u wrote ?
  6. agree. Paraguard is really a good product. but not deemed as reef-safe products. Have maintain contact with Seachem their side and it's good product. But for those with reef tank, use it at ur own risk. best is to cure ur fish at seperate tank. quarantine tank is still the necessity and always the safer choice. :>
  7. in fact, it's not only that we lack R&D in rotifers. We mainly lack R&D in captive-bred products. I have done a research and some link up with the USA side. It's rather surprising to know that we have such a great demand of marine fish and corals in spite of the small population. But sad to know is that so little ppl yet so many fishes...means ? It means lots of death... and it also means more capturing in the nature to supply for our needs. Those that are capture in the wild have low chance of survival.. due to feeding habits...transporting and handling...diseases. and all these caused problem in our tank. one fish died and the rest are affected resulting in more death. but...all the farms here are selling wild capture stocks becos of the low price and the high profit. sadly... but this business is getting better with better filtration system and more ppl entering into the hobby. I notice that more ppl are willing to spend their money on equipment and their prize keep. Have a big plan in the future. Hope can benefit and change the way it is. Are u guys comfortable in spending 20 bucks more to get a coral which is captive-bred ? Given the advantages like it doesn't carry diseases and it acclimate fast ? and also doesn't have transport prob. plus deliver right to ur doorstep ? The difference ? One is keeping a stray dog and try to tame it. While the other one is to get a trained dog. possible becos i dun see any singaporean keeping a stray dog now.hahahaha.
  8. I plan to go into the production of rotifers. So i need ur input, thanks. If i am to produce a mixed species of rotifers, it will be cheaper. If it will be a specific type, getting the culture will cost and so the price will increase also. Thanks. I plan to give out all the first batch for free. :>
  9. it is more like an advanced way of filtering. not using of filter medium. hahaha...the price is HOLY.hahahaha.more suitable for lazy ppl and corporate. It removes nitrite, ammonia and nitrate all together instead of wat it is propose here which is to removes nitrite and ammonia so as not to produce nitrate. I dun think i can work this way to remove nitrite and ammonia alone. But that artifical biological system is a good but expensive idea. If more research is done on that, maybe in the future, our ocean will be at risk. :S Becos everyone will want to get their hands on saltwater aquarium. HORRIBLE. hahaha..but it also be great news for reefers. A potential area to expand and research into. :>
  10. good. :> hahaa..good response. it's possible to produce rotifers and stuffs. But it's the standard and quality that i am looking into it. No prob guys. for the benefit of everyone...dun wan to produce product in a rush just becos there is a market and make use of it to earn money. but it's more like the principal of a man. hahahaha...
  11. nope. how big is it ? it is reef-safe. don't have to worry abt that. it will help u to clean up ur tank and ur rocks...ur corals too. :> it's prefectly normal and alright.
  12. dun think ppl will wanna do this...u really gonna spend too much money on this unless u are using a really small system to manage.. or else a 200gallon or anything close to that can cost u a bomb. I think u can support two families with that money alone. considering the bioload too.. but u must remember the downside of doing so the breakdown of system. what if ur pump stop working or any faulty stuffs ? ammonia and nitrite spike can kill all ur fishes. and the manual labour in renewing the filter medium plus testing of water now and then. no biological filter means u measure the parameters more for safety and it means money again. nono. dun think it works. when u only need to deal with nitrate, u choose to deal with nitrite and ammonia. both are deadly when nitrate is not so. wun it be a bit silly? ammonia and nitrite buildup can kill. I dun think any hobbyist will want to risk their livestock by not having biological factor. Money-wise is not worth it and labour-wise, no one wants to do it. ppl want to do less and achieve more. not do more and achieve the same. pls just let the bacteria do their job. after all they are born to do so. besides nitrite and ammonia, they are good at removing other stuffs too which is the filter medium can't. There is a lot of chemistry in the water. so much so that it's pretty hard to look into every little element in it. That will be hell lot of job and even if research is successful, the product will be damn expensive.
  13. I am using a canister filter for my 3 feet also... u can use filter medium for the short term removal but that going to cost u alot...I use seachem's phosguard...and if the effect is good, I remove it after one day of use when the level of phosphate is still high and use another batch. What I suggest is that u do a water change often to prevent building of phosphate and nitrate. and at the same time use filter medium to lower it too... with Aquapharm's Instant mud. It can lower phosphate and helps in coral growth too. and at the same time, set up a refugium...yes u can even with a canister filter becos that's what I do. u can connect the two tank and canister together with some calculations. grow chaeto and other macro algae in ur refugium to control ur phos and nitrate level. but first let ur refugium have a tank cycle before linking up ur main tank becos u are increasing the volume of water and increasing ur bioload so just in case that ur main tank have an ammonia and nitrite spike. It will be good to let the refugium cycle alone and at the same time u can inspect the effectiveness of the chaeto in ur refugium. Just in case that the refugium breakdown during that period, it also wun affect ur main taNK. Having a refugium is good becos it can also be use as a quarantine tank or u can use it as a seahorse and pipefish tank or....blah blah blah...it has many uses. u can email me if u need any help at secret_cracker@hotmail.com I will be glad to help u.
  14. noope..it's not a combination of powder brown and Achiles tang...it's a hybrid of Achilies and Goldrim...it's the most expensive tang
  15. I used to own a clown tang, blue tang and now a powder blue...unfortunately and sadly...all died on me...damn sad when each one of them died... Now not more tang in my tang, waiting to see what i can do to better solve the prob... no nitrate in my tank only phosphate right now... all died of ich... damn sian... anyone can tell me how they keep their PTB tang alive ? and also clown tang alive ? i got a cleaner shrimp..thinking of getting somemore to clean up the tang next time.. what's a good remedy for ich ? i try freshwater dip with methyl blue but still no use.. still die in the end after i place it into quarantee tank... SIAN... HELP. I am thinking of ozonizer...does it make a significant effort and effect to the survival rate of the tangs ?
  16. hahaha...that's a convict tang... my favourite will be achilles gold rim tang...anyone heard of it ? Damn cool...dun know if i can find it in singapore or else will place order overseas...
  17. this is the only way for u to propagate Blasto and hard corals. bro, to harvest u need to sow.
  18. hey, I pm you abt the LPS moon that u posty previously. pls reply me at 81968903

I know how to use but wanna see how other ppl prevent material corrosion, ozone poisoning and other stuffs. Care to make friends if you dun have ozonizer to sell, we can still discuss the use and blah blah blah blah....blah.yah. okay. pm me or sms me at 81968903. email me at secret_cracker@hotmail.com dun leave any msg here. thanks. bye.
