tank brace broke off

Hi Guys,

I was doing some scaping in my tank and while leaning at the back brace of the tank a piece of it broke off! I was on a ladder and all my weight is on the brace while leaning on it one hand while other hand is reaching at the bottom of the tank. Tanks is 4ft and 2.5 ft deep so a bit tough to do scaping. The piece that broke off is about midway.

Please see pics. Should I be concerned and get it fix?

Thanks.

if the crack extend across the whole brace, or have already crack through the brace, i think u can get someone to replace a new one.

Yes, get it fixed. Especially so if your tank bottom does not have brace.

If not soon your tank will start leaking.
