Use Rowaphos to reduce phospate and grow cheato to reduce nitrate.

Hi Schwantz, currently, my sump have nyos skimmer, 2L siporax, chaeto, rowaphos and 2L of Aquaforest bio fil.

But my chaeto don't grow as fast as it use to. No idea why my chaeto stop grow. I on 23 hours light but the colour of the chaeto still in dark green colour.

Rowaphos seem like wear off pretty fast. Last week I add new rowaphos and the reading is 0.009ppm but yesterday i checked again the reading has rise to 0.129ppm

Planing to DIY algae scrubber in few weeks time.

How big is your tank and what is your Bioload? Try not to overfeed. How big is your cheato chamber? Send some pics. You can also try marine pure block if you have space.
