Hi.. juz bought an x-box set today.. it's NTSC/J. Is it the same as PS2 if it's NTSC/J it can only play japanese games?

NTSC/J is the common standard for Asia games. Just make sure that the games you bought have the NTSC/J on the box.

Think you can get some titltes that are in English but are only a few.

The other way is you can get it modified to play games from U.S. or pirated (shh... I am not condoning this course of action but.....). Only thing is you will lose the ability to use LiveBox!

90% of the NTSC/J games available here are in English! I know, coz I'm a XBoxer too! Do not modify your set if you intent to play online. But heard there's a mod chip which allows you to disable it before you go online.
