advices needed to change tank

hi all,

just got a new tank...planning to replace my old 3footer(quite established)

problems:

i got corals and fishes inside...

i cannot set up the new tank in a new location within my hse....so the old tank gotta go and replaced by the new tank.

any advice on how to handle the ls?

can i put them in a holding area 1st....move everything....and transfer them back?

i scared that the ls might not make it...

wats the new tank size? are u going to cycle the tank? i afraid u ned some time to cycle ur tank b4 u can intro ur LS into ur tank wor..

Get a huge tub, transfering everything in your tank into the tub, dat includes the water from your main tank.... and also liverocks...

Important to note, if you have a DSB in your old tank now, make sure it's not disturbed, else everything will be killed!

Bro, looks like you got no choice but to take everything apart for the old tank and set up your new tank.As for your LS, either you placed them in a big tub or 'tumpang' with other reefers till your new tank is all cycled properly.

so i transfer everything into a spare tank?

tat is excluding the DSB?...u mean i cannot touch the sand? or can i put the sand into my new tank?

If you have a DSB in your current tank, u have to remove all your LS and corals before disturbing it, if not, none of it would survive...
