Hi all,

Am seriously considering purchasing MH (with the support on the tank) for my tank (corals & fishes). Understand that they are around $350 for the HILUX brand.

Anyone of you think that I should skip MH and go for something else.

Appreciate your comments as I may want to get the lights sometime this weekend or just after the New Year.

hee :P think you posted in the wrong category because this is a Fish-Only category. Then saw you mentioned for corals.

IMO, it depends on the type of corals that you are keeping. SPS does best with MH of course and the rest can do well under T5 too. Perhaps you can decide on what corals to keep first, then judge the lighting they need. :lol:

Fishes dont really require good lighting but I do notice personally that MH makes their colour more outstanding... never regret buying mine ;)
