its one of the old birds.. got YT which is immune to ich so far..

both eating like pigs..

I've a new addition a month ago that develop black or brown spot on its body within 3 days. At the end of 2nd week it starts eating and the spots are gone.

Did you see any spots on its fins ?

May be due to stress, check water parameter.

Observe its condition and make sure it feeding habit does not worsen.

powder brown eating since day 1 in my tank.. no spots on fins bt just black spots on body.

nitrate: 5ppm

temp: 27deg.

Metacercaria-In the life cycles of most digenetic trematodes,cercariae encyst in or on a second

intermediate host, forming a metacercariae(singular=metacercaria). When the second intermediate host is eaten the metacercariae excyst in the definitive host's intestinal tract, thus establishing an infection.

Aspecialized type of metacercaria,the"neascus metacercaria," is found in the genus UVULIFER. It causes "Black Spot" in fish.
