Hi, can anyone kindly tell me wat to do? I have a 2 feet marine fish tank and the fishes inside got lots of white spots and they are spreading like wild fire. I have tried to lower the salt level by adding fresh water, i oso have try to change the water around 20% of it. But all that i do or tried, just can't seems to get rid of the white spots off my poor fishes. What should i do!

not much u can do now.

experience that before too.

use garlic soaked food to feed ur fish to booast their immune system. keep dosing all the way.

try to have optimun temperature and water conditions so as not to stress the fish further.

if u dun run a chiller. use a fan instead. it helps. trust me

or by the hard way. use copper treatment. but warning its not reef safe. it will kill ur invertebrates.

or catch ur all ur fishes out to another tank and do copper treatment.

there are also some medications that is so called "reef-safe" on the market.

one of them is waterlife, myxazin, personally used it before. no promblem for me as my invertebrates were alrite but only slight improvement made

good luck

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Hi I had a similar problem when I First started too.

Heres what I did:

Got 2 Doctor shrimps (Skunk Variety)

Lowered my salinity to 1.023.

every other day I Peeled a cloave of garlic Crushed it with chopsticks mixed it

with distilled water (3ml) Strained the solution, mixed with food and dumped it in tank.

My 2 blue tangs loved the pieces of garlic that strayed in and the Spots were gone in about a week. never came back again.

I also used a buffer during this time as I feared the garlic may affect ph.
