Calcium Dosage

Anyone ever tried using those small packs of CaO desiccant found in food packets as a subsitute of calcium dosage like the Kalkwasser drip?

Do u think its safe?

you mean lime desiccant izzit?

never tried so can't comment. But it will be simpler for me to grab a tub of kalk at my LFS that last for months than to start collecting those small desiccant pack.

yup lime dessicant..just happen to have a number of packs on hand that set me wondering.. after all its more or less the same thing?
