Hi brothers,

some questions on dry-wet filter :)

1) Is dry-wet filter a common and recommended practice in marine setup?

2) Have read a few articles on such filter, most are using bio-ball, bio-ring as media at the dry portion. So does it mean bio-ball should only be used at the dry portion? actually kinda silly becos I have been submerging bio-balls in the water all the while.

3) If no dry-wet filter, through submerged media only is that sufficient?

4) Havent seen a detailed plan on dry-wet filter, but since the water have to pass thru the bio-balls so there must be a way to "spread" the water over a larger surface right? Is a drip-box good for this?

5) If use a drip box, should the sponges be above or below the holes of drip-box? < ok I know this is a silly question but want to be sure :paiseh:
