damsels
Hi brothers, Sorry, I would like to ask a very silly question. I have never seen a MH lightset before till recently. I was really shocked when I saw the set because the width of the set is almost twice of my 2T5 light set. Is this normal? Or is it just that brand...? I was thinking of getting a MH lightset before, now I see it, I am scared that it may be too big...maybe too heavy for the tank itself? Gary
There are those MH meant for 3 ft tank, so actually you don't need to go for anything bigger than your tank.

Well if you are comparing 1 bulb MH taking up a little wider width compared to 2 tubes T5 then maybe. Somehow the reflector and casing for the MH is much bigger. But surely most brands will fit your tank if you buy the correct size ones (Length wise). Width will matter if your tank specs is funny.. like a 3x1(w).. Usually a 3ft tank would be a 1.5 or more.. should be ok. Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?
