Just sharing my 1 year old no frill mixed reef 2ft x 2ft x 1ft tank. Firstly, my apology for the poor picture quality as the pictures were taken using my handphone. The followings are the equipment list :

Tank : 2ft x 2ft x 1ft

Wavemaker : 1 x K3 Hydor

Skimmer : 1 x Rio Nano skimmer

Lights : 1 x 4 tubes T5 Aquasonic (2 white tubes, 2 blues)

1 x 4 tubes T5 Solite (1 white tube, 1 blue tube, 2 spoilt)

Morning sun from 9 am to 11 am

Fan : 1 diy fan

Temp : 26 C to 30 C

Water Change : 10 to 20 % weekly using NSW

nice! Even with no chiller, can see some growth in your SPS.

Great job!

Any additive dosage? Whats the routine?

Daily top up of buffered aged water. Recently noticed my ca and kh is on the low side. Therefore have started daily dosing of 1 cap of Purple-up and alternate day dosing of Seachem Reef Builder.
