SRC Member inwear Posted November 20, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted November 20, 2010 Hi Bro, i had it for $28 from Polyart at C328 ( throw out sale - last piece) ...its does not skim much even if it does, its extremely wet.. theres a deflect in the neck design.. you will noticed this after a week while doing your weekly pm... i used it as a secondary filter for injecting ozone since its so cheap..dun mind if it break down on me... go for Reef Octopus.. its a good workhorse .. great value for money ... i had a BH 2000 ($218) ... work so much x 100 better than my another red sea prizm ( $199)- you can pm me if you wanna more information Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BH1000 ($198) or B100F ( should slightly above $200, my personal choice) or BH100 ( $140 + ) great for nano tank ...its better to invest eariler than your lifestocks start going up lorry.. that what happened to me when i just start.. btw 178 was my second skimmer.. first was Rio nano.. both are been trashed...very little skimmate until i change to prizm then to reef.O never look back lioaz..
