The Striped Fang Blenny is a solitary species found in sheltered lagoon and seaward reefs.Very popular with Aquarists, the Striped Fang Blenny can be kept in either reef aquaria or a community aquarium, as long as there are no other Blennys of the same body type in the tank. As with others of its genus, the Striped Fang Blenny’s bite can be slightly toxic. If bitten seek medical advice, especially if diabetic, anemic or suseptible to allergic reactions. |

Diet: The Meiacanthus grammistes is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of chopped foods (meats & veggies). Level of Care: The Striped Fang Blenny is a medium maintenance fish. Behavior: The Striped Fang Blenny may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Yes Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 – 1.025, pH 8.1 – 8.4, Temp. 72 – 78 F). Range: Western Pacific to Indochina, Papua New Guinea, north to Ryukyu Is., and south to northwestern Australia. |
