Meiacanthus grammistes

The Striped Fang Blenny is a solitary species found in sheltered lagoon and seaward reefs.Very popular with Aquarists, the Striped Fang Blenny can be kept in either reef aquaria or a community aquarium, as long as there are no other Blennys of the same body type in the tank. As with others of its genus, the Striped Fang Blenny’s bite can be slightly toxic. If bitten seek medical advice, especially if diabetic, anemic or suseptible to allergic reactions.

Maximum Size: the Meiacanthus grammistes grows up to 5 inches.

Minimum Tank Size: The Striped Fang Blenny prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.

Diet: The Meiacanthus grammistes is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of chopped foods (meats & veggies).

Level of Care: The Striped Fang Blenny is a medium maintenance fish.
