Heniochus pleurotaenia, Ahl 1923, is the Phantom Bannerfish, easily confused in the west by the more commonly imported Humphead Bannerfish, Heniochus varius (Cuvier 1829) from the western and central Pacific. Does eat coral polyps in the wild. |
