Dascyllus trimaculatus
Likes to coexists with carpet anemones (Stichodactyla species). Dascyllus trimaculatus (Ruppell 1829), the Three-Spot Damsel or Domino. Indo-west Pacific. Lives on coral and rocky reefs…. and so feisty, it bites the hands of the aquarists who feed it! These fish are aggressive and territorial and can harass fish many times it’s size. It is not suitable for a peaceful community tank.
Maximum Size: the Dascyllus trimaculatus grows up to 6 inches.
Minimum Tank Size: The 3-Spot Domino Damsel prefers a tank of at least 30 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet: The Dascyllus trimaculatus is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of foods (meats & veggies).
