Klunzinger’s Wrasse
Thalassoma klunzingeri
Thalassoma klunzingeri or Klunzinger’s Wrasse is harmless to corals but will pick at ornamental crustaceans, snails, serpent stars, bristleworms, mantis shrimps and very small fish. Very flashy coloration of The coloration of this fish is quite startling with it’s bright stripe patterns on a pearly to green background. Needs planty of swimming room and will harass new fish introduced to the tank if they are smaller or close in shape. Best added as one of the last fish. Keep with larger and belligerent fishes. Offer love rock with many places for them to hide in at night or when frightened as they do not bury in the sand. This fish comes to us from the Red Sea and is not always available.
