Green Clown Goby
Gobiodon atrangulatus
Clown Goby (Gobiodon Atrangulatus). Like the Yellow Clown Goby, the Green Clown goby is a peaceful addition to any reef with caution. Normally found living among soft and hard coral colonies, they make their nests by tearing the covering off acropora colonies. Luckily they rarely cause much damage but if you only have one small acropora sp. you might want to rethink this fish. You can keep them in pairs or more but they do require a larger tank. Eats mysis shrimp, raw shrimp and other meaty foods.
Maximum Size: the Gobiodon atrangulatus grows up to 1.5 inches.
Minimum Tank Size: The Green Clown Goby prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet: The Gobiodon atrangulatus is a carnivore and likes to eat brine & mysid shrimp and other meaty treats.
Level of Care: The Green Clown Goby is a low maintenance fish.
Behavior: The Green Clown Goby may act peacefully toward other fish.
Hardiness: This is a hardy fish.
Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 – 1.025, pH 8.1 – 8.4, Temp. 72 – 78 F).
