Gobies may sometimes attempt jump out. Needs places to burrow. Prefer presence of substrate. It is hearty; accepts most foods. It is passive and compatible with same or like species. It is a good reef fish. Known to be one of the watchman family that will share its burrow with a pistol shrimp. The High Fin Goby pairs particularly well with the red and white striped ‘Randalls’ Pistol Shrimp.
