Pseudochromis paccagnella is a boldly marked purple and yellow color. Also known as the Bi-color Pseudochromis. The Royal Dottyback is not easily intimidated by other fish and will defend it’s territory against fish many times it’s size. Not a suitable fish for a peaceful tank community. |
Maximum Size: the Pseudochromis paccagnellae grows up to 3 inches. Minimum Tank Size: The Royal Dottyback prefers a tank of at least 10 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Pseudochromis paccagnellae is a carnivore and likes to eat variety of meat treats, Mysis Shrimp, prepared foods. Level of Care: The Royal Dottyback is a low maintenance fish. Behavior: The Royal Dottyback may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Hardiness: This is a hardy fish. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 – 1.025, pH 8.1 – 8.4, Temp. 72 – 78 F). Range: indo-Pacific. |
