  4. just QT'd my old clown ... just right after started laying on it's side
  5. will do ... noticed fast breathing, the gills moving very rapidly, and also the edges of the gills look "shredded a little" (not sure if that's normal) ... the white spots doesn't look as bad as in the pic you shown, those look already like lessions. though i didn't notice any "slime". thanks thanks bro.
  6. just last started last night, one of my clowns seems to have these small thingies, and now not feeding, his face suddenly whitish as if seen a ghost. just swimming stand still, facing up, looks somehow weak
  7. uh oh ... white spots ... are these VERY fine spots, small spots that almost look like very tiny bubbles on the clown's skin ? haha ... henry's henry's .... already stuck in my mind
  8. wow ... envy envy your nokia pic bro. just trying, taking one with iphone 3gs, used digital zoom though (maybe not good idea), and this is what i got.

  12. wow !!! great tip binosage thanks ... now to find a reason why my sis' dvd player broke ....
  13. bro comycus, it is urs. it's the thread about ur newbie tank !
  14. it's on top of LRs as in photo, now just using PL.
  15. twelvedesign was selling last week (posted) ... but one pair. not sure if still avail.
  16. bro rockyboy, are there a lot of other fishes which hosts anemones ? just didn't expect my domino to do so, only after i saw it happened, and i read more about it, then yeah found that it's normal.
  17. hi, train i mean in feeding. for the hosting, advise was to try to do it in "darkness" when you switch off the lights, the clown is a little stunned or something, then with your hand try to guide the clown to the anemone, but may have to do this few times (haven't tried yet). my clown was "almost" hosting already, until my domino suddenly began to skim my BTA, and since then like i said, like a cat purring against your leg. though my domino doesn't seem to be aggressive to scare away my clowns to protect his BTA, my clowns also stay away already.
  18. oh yeah forgot to mention, i posted a similar thing couple of weeks back. i was told it might be part of adjustment, better if you can train them in a betta box. eventually after about 5 days, my clowns started feeding after i "isolated" them, since the other fishes were feeding fast. now they eat off pellets, flakes, brine ... anything i guess.
  19. i have the same problem. mine already a week passed, and neither of my clowns have cuddled with my BTA. they try to come close, but that's it. now funny thing i saw yesterday, is my domino started to cuddle up with the BTA, like a cat rubbing against your leg ! so now the more that my clowns stay away !
  20. ok thanks bros ... responding to fresh shrimp quite well. so far i just keep the lights on for about 10 hours or so, trying to follow a normal day cycle i guess.
  21. oh ok that's interesting, maybe i can try that btw, how much lighting does the BTA require ? i mean have to keep lights open all the time ? especially in the evening ...
  22. whooops ... my bad, nope nope not urs
  23. yeah, successfully, could just imagine what can be done. hey bro comycus, was looking at your post on your set-up ... drool drool drool ... really cool. anyway, it's like the platinum clown, ya like that ? hefty prize, but i don't find it attractive ... anyway sometimes seeing it actual is different
  24. haha, henry's again ... i should sometime sked a trip there. anyway, i'll try to get a better pic, seeing em actual (was on the run earlier moving to another LR), doesn't seem to be bleached, but then again, i'm not an expert, or even near being one, so i would really need inputs.
  25. ideally ... ideally sounds ok ... but in the real world, when murphy's law steps in (things start to go wrong), quite scary just imagine if certain types of deformed or transformed creatures stem out of this. just like a story coming from a movie ... but still, very possible to happen.
