 Finally got the conversion table

Can someone based on the example to guide me how to convert

eg.

1. Tank 4 X 2 X 2 1/4

2. Sump 3 X 1.5 X 1.5

3. Light 2 X 250watts

4. pump 2 X 80 watts

Here is the table :

[(total water vol in us gal X 8.3lbs/gal) X 18 degrees fahrenheit

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

24 hours

+

(total heat given by equipment (watts) X 3.413)] X 1.2

=

??? BTU/hour

---------------

12,000 BTU/hour

=

??? HP OF CHILLER

Can those Math genius help me..... :thanks:

Hope this table is beneficial to all...

this means a 1/2 HP rating will give u roughly 373W of power.

it oso means 1273 BTU/hr = 1/2 HP.

But based on tdmrider it should less than 1/2 Hp right ? since it end up only = 0.29 instead of 0.50

If u based on tdmrider BTU column is 3583.32  and if u r saying 1273 BTU/Hr = 1/2 HP , den 3583.32 BTU/Hr will be 1.4HP ????

:thanks:
