Also to answer the question for the skimmer, yes this skimmer will produce wet skimmate and it works but not efficient. I always think the positive thing about this skimmer is the venturi pump comes with this skimmer is rejuvinating the water oxygen. This skimmet will fit the first or second compartment on Nano Cube 12 gallon & 24 gallon either JBJ or Bayou.

Decided to get fake LR for my tank mixed with LR from existing tank.

Decided to journal my experience moving my LS to Red Sea Max, I guess some of my LS will not survive especially after I am going to move them to temporary holding tank. Yesterday, getting 1 tube Aust. gold puka shell and 1 tube Hawaii puka shell, it was said only need to wash briefly but I found otherwise. I wash it for almaot half hour and I still got some floating dirt, sian......also getting Eheim pump for my chiller and some eheim elbow for the plastic hose.

Going to decom this tank this weekend when my RSM comes this Thursday. I am still thinking what should I do with this tank after decom if no one wants to buy it. May be I will keep it as fresh water tank in the office.......

To sweeten the deal, I will throw the following items: 1. Coralife Density Meter 2. Atman pump 1200 l/hr, this pump is good for pumping water in ant out aquarium for regular water change. I also kindly ask understanding, that I can't send the tank and stand FOC since I may need t rental van for delivery. Alternatively, I am willing to help genuine buyer to share transport, just come to my place and collect the stand/tank using taxi and I will deliver the other with my car. There is no way I can load the stand and tank into my car in single delivery.

Put in separate FR, I had similar idea last time but I was told that if two different desity material mixed in the FR will create media destruction on the lower density material. This detruction will be fine particle and may be pumped to your water.....correct me if I am wrong.

Scrapping my custom tank plan just upgrade to ready made tank, some excess items need to sale: 1. JBJ 5W UV with Built Up Circulation Pump imported from USA comes with 220-110 converter asking for SGD 125 2. SKIMz FR NEW bought from reefer 2 weeks ago for SGD 60 now selling at SGD 60 (Note: this FR doesn't come with SORB-4) 3. JBJ Nano Cube 24 gallon black with black 'S' stand, upgraded pump to Hydor L25, Nano Fission Skimmer, 10 lb of grade 1 live sands & mounted power center under the stand. Hood had been drilled, 4 holes available for chiller and FR access. Original pump will be given also. Planning to decom by end of this month or earlier depend on my schedule and delivery of my new tank. Prefer buyer to collect the same day I decom the tank so the live sand will not damaged. Asking for SGD 325 or please give me offer. Buyer arrange own transport. I will gave deiinite date by end of next week for my decom. Thanks.

I can't put hang on type for nano cube without throwing the the hood.

I think you can get hang-on skimmer, I dunno wheter red sea available here is hang on type. I have ana fission skimmer must be ordered from USA and it sucks...not recommended....

Sorry to hijack the thread, how to feed the market prawn? Both my big pratas always vomit after it swallow the wrong size market prawn so now only target feed with harry reef food. Also when I am trying to put the prawn I always accidently touch it and make it shrink even further.

I have one BT at my 24 gallon Nano Tank indeed this fish is sicko, sick easily. So far it almost died 2 times but it get through it and very active now when light on playing around with his best friend domino black damsel. I have 3 damsel and one damsel (domino damsel) is very aggresive against other damsels but it go along with my BT and Nemo.

I have bad experience with feeding market prawn to my pratas, big chuck may cause the coral to vomit and shrink. I try to reduce it to smaller size, it can be swallowed without vomit but I after if I just gave up. Just feed my corals with miced meaty food from ML diluted in water and target puring to the tank with wave maker and circulation pump off. I found this better way to feed the coral and reducing stress by try to put market prawn meat into the mouth. I dunno whether this is also apply to elegance.
