I bit worry because no sign of blooming after relocated to my tank yesterday. I also notice that my small blue tang was caught tryinh to nip the prata tentacle. I will upload the photo later....

I boght one common prata last night, I saw the tentacle last night when I feed it with Harry Reef. But today the tentacle gone, I suspect one of my fish nip it. Will my prata survive?

Bernanrd, Thanks for the info. What brand are you using now? I am still waiting for my Fssion Nano Skimmer to be deliverd from USA, it cost half what you use now. I am not planning to run my skimmer 24 hours, I will install timer. Cheers, David

I try to use my nano 24 gallon without chiller, it can spike to 34 dec C on the hot day main light on. Chiller is necessary, except you aircon is on 24 hours. I keep my nano at 26 deg C, so far so good.

Any shop in Singapore carry this UV sterlizer from JBJ? I think my tank is invaded by floating algae..sigh.....

I really hate Resun, I bought CL200 for my 24 gallon nano (95l) it ran non-stop for 2 days and temprature only drop 2-3 degree ( was set at 26 C) so I change the setting to 29 C still kitting abour 45 minuts with 15 minutes interval and the sound is HORIBBLE...since I put my nano near my main sofa. After 3 days I ask the shop to take it back (7dyas 1-to-1 exchange) and buy Artica 1/10 HP on the first impression probem solved sound is very smooth like fan and able to cool 5 C within half hour GREAT! money well spend never regret it at all. Now I set my chiller at 26 C and only kicking about 10-15 minutes every 4 hours. Another to notice is CL 200 for 200 l tank consume 200 W/h and my artice 1/10 HP for 500 l water is only rate at 75 W/h I think the shop also giving adivce nothing can go wrong with artice and getting oversized chiller.

Finally I can start putting life stock to NC 24G.... after cycling for 8 days. In the first I still afraid to put life stock, so decided to buy 3 x damsel fish for testing and 2 x tiny hermit crabs. First these fishes only hiding at the bottom (shocked maybe), but after 1/2 hours I sprinkle fish pellets all spring up and having fiesta. I guess my tank is okay. So today decided to buy anothe LF, one clown fish, one box fish, and two corals. I bought sun coral and buttons. I still thinking what to add in the coming next week. Anyone can advice me how to take care the reef system if we are on holiday and no one takecare for 1-2 weeks, will it survive? Thanks.

Finally I changed my chiller to JBJ Arctica 1/10 it works perfectly with no sh*tty rattle noise and it cools 6 deg C within 30 mins. When the temp reaching 24.8C in the tank I can saw couple hitchiker brittle stars came out from my life rock

Anyone using CL200 for 24g JBJ Nano Cube? How long it takes to cool the tank from 30 deg C to 26 deg C?

JBJ Nano Cube 24 G - about 95l well below of the 200l capacity stated in manual.

Thanks for the pointer. I think I will take out the circulation pump out and using only one pump only to circulate the water. I also spoke to aquamarine they will send someone to inspect the chiller thumbs up!

Sorry the date it should be 18/7/2007 thanks for the reminder. The chiller intake is from 3rd sump tank after carbon filter and chilled water also going back to the same compartment. In this compartement I have 2 pumps, the other pump is for water circulation. Is it better if I am using only one pump, the chilled water I will connected directional output nozzel?

I just bought my chiller CL 200 from Auqamarine on 25/7/2007, I set the temperature to 25 deg C. But this chiller had been kicking non stop 48 hours but the water temperature only drop 3 degrees from 31 to 28 deg C. Is this normal or I need to return the chiller. Thanks

Yes, I got up to 34 deg C if the light is on, therefore I installed a chiller by modify the hood for cooling hose access and additional one 1000 l/hr Hydor pump. I amusing the ooriginal skimmer comes with the cube, but I am thinking on th e possibility to add hanging skimmer.

Hi, Is it necessary to get protein skimmer for 24g Nano Cube? During this cycling period, I bought testing set to check pH, Amonia, Nitrite and Nitrate is enoughh? Do I need to check the calcium content on the water? Thanks
