Once stable, you can add in some snails. Sure clean, your rocks. I'm still having brown algae in mine. I only have one turbo snail in there. Cant keep up. But no problem clean them once a week and done.

Yes bro must endure. My ammonia spiked on the 3rd day and by the end of the week all zero liao except for nitrate. Still I waited for another 2 weeks before adding LS. Maybe yours by 2nd week if there's some algae growth can put in some clean up crew.

Bro that Dymax you use for ventilation fan for your cabinet cannot make it lah bro. Go Sim Lim and get those 3 inch ventilation fan. But I think its best you keep your chiller outside. Where are you placing you ballast? I like your rocks. Any spare?

I am loving my MCE300. Best money ever spent so far. The amount of junk it can pull out is great. Its big but you hang it at the back. No one will notice. My wife doesn't, yet. For using it on the 28g JBJ, u need to mod the input and output pipes. Need to cut it short a bit. I did consider the Prizm, Remora as well as Tunze before settling for MCE300. I wanted a skimmer which has the pump on the outside of the tank and not in it. I dont want to mess with more equipments and cables going into my JBJ IOS. So that removes the Remora and Tunze on my list. So comparing between the Red Sea Prizm and the Deltec MCE300, I feel that paying $100plus more on the MCE300 is a better choice in the long run. And I am loving it.

I'm using the Hailea 150a for my JBJ 28G tank. It took 1hr 10 mins to cool down 1 degs from 28dC to 27dC. And it will take another hours plus before it kicks in again. Is that normal? I've got 2 pumps in there, 1 Koralia 1, and the MCE300 skimmer. And I've noticed its the same wether my lights are on or off.
