this i agree, back in 2002 with all those hugh shipements, i remember the shop just below farm mart, have long stretches of maxima's in various colours and large sizes and all costing around 30-60 dollars...*sighs* those were the good old days.

My 2 cents on the best way to rid this aglae is to get a good workable skimmer, it'll reduce the protein in take when u excessively feed so in turn changing the whole cycle to keep the tank cleaner and don't have to worry abt having this problem ever again. when i used to have my 2 feet, the my Prism did a good job of reducing these.

actually i don't think it's a snowflake, snowflakes are alot slender, this one i think some kind of fish species la, not eel i think la, saw a few at ML, so can check with Henry.

i've seen them both in a 4ft tank alot of our brudders here... but u really to establish some space for both and it'll be better if u can similatiously introduce them into the tank

Bros & Sistas, i've got a 1.5 inch Black and White african Clown for a swop for a same sized Skunk clown or Saddleback or any other smaller peaceful fish or coral to offer. He/She is very active and loves to move around eats well and is definately not ill. Giving him/her away, as i'v already got a few other Clown fishes and he/she has become very terroitorial but with other fishes he is quite mellow. Would like to find him a nice home, where there are lesser clowns around for him to fight with as he is still quite small and wouldn't be much of a bio-load problem. Hope he finds a good home. I guess i have to agree with Somebody/ Andy sentiments on hoping that no one else should be hurt with such experiences. Basically, alot of us here, have only 1 common goal and that is to express and share our love for this hobby be it good or bad, i hope that we can exchange these ideas amongst each other to further gain knowledge and grasp more experience in keeping our stocks alive.... i think i'm speaking for all the rest when i say this. Hopefully, all of us here can be more patient with each other so that such instances don't work. Anyways, Mr HaTeMe i'm still a plankton when it comes to experience even though i joined this forum quite sometime back.
