hi would like to know if UV light is really useful in killing water borne parasite? doe it get rid of the darn itch parasite and will it harm the useful bacteria in the tank as well?

funny part is all eating like pig and swimming around. just tat some white spots appear only during night time.
there's mentioned of using UV light to treat water. how effective is it? read that using UV will kill those good bacteria as well. any ideas?

impossible. the light is on even in day time. i can even detect a change of 5% less magenta in ink pigment much lesser light shades. LOL

i notice that the white spots tend or only appear at night on the fish. during day time the fish seems perfectly fine no white spots on the body at all. any theory for this?

is there nothing we can do to get rid of the itch with the fish inside the tank? quite strange with such great advancement in science, there still no solution....

my tangs damn ho mia. inside gt red bamboo, red seaweed, cheoto, seaweed and blanched lettuce. all the tangs eating like mad except the PBT. will try mysis later.

it be helpful if experts from the LFS can comments on this, is it or is it now poisonous? i saw online most marine seller website did warned and indicated that its is poisonous.

checked with henry and below is his reply as to if the sea hare slug is poisonous and release toxic
"Its absolutely mistaken. When stressd, the sea hare will release a harmless purple dye for defense. If sea hare die, it decompose like any other organism. only get high nutrient release which should be taken care of by the bio filter and skimmer"
