Be it Tangs or Angels all differ from owner to owner in a reef or a fish only tank Some behave differently and except food in their own time and pace. So retalively speaking , there isn't a fixed rule to each and every tang kept by us.

never had a problem with emperor though but biocolor lives off living rock and is supceptable to ich! before putting them into your reef , train them in a separate tank and I'm sure you'll have success there or get a fish thats feeding so the hard to eat angels will follow.
