    James, have built in timers... 16 different sets of timings that you can use to set your lighting to go on and off

    1. Same everyday

    2. different everyday

    3. Same for weekends

    4.Same for weekdays

    etc etc..

    I can't remember all 16 different variations. LOL I couldnt be bothered to set all different so I just used option 1. LOL though perhaps I may change it if I feel like it.

    I hope this dog has found a better family who will love him and treat him as part of their family!!!....

    people should Stop, think and weight the consequences BEFORE ever buying any pet be it dog/cat/hamster/chichilla/rabbit /Whatever!! It's a life!!! Always remember : they may not be everything to you, but you are their owner is EVERYTHING to them.

    Ok I finally got my Orphek up and running. We initialy thought of drilling into the cieling but that would run the risk of hitting into electrical wiring etc and I don't have the plans of our house so forget that.... and because the tank is about 1/2 feet away from the wall.. we didn't want to get to big a bracket to hang the light.

    End up... we found that the Maxspect Mazarra bracket will be able to do the job! so here it is...

    The controlbox is however rather big.. almost 1/2 the size of the LED itself. I placed it on the chair next to my 3 footer for now.

    Also, I had some minor rock issues last night when I reached in to pick up a coral which dropped to the floor.. resulted in an hour of salt water mess again as I had to save my overhand from collapsing .. so now I have a top tier and 2nd tier look.. this is with the ecolamp blue LEDs on only.

    Long time no update.. but last 1 week has been.... eeky... Caught 2 worms. Last Tuesday caught a 2 feet long bristle worm which I saw extending out in the morning to my makeshift Worm trap using a small jar and a decomposing scallop. See pics of my catch.. which resulted me in being late for work as instead of reaching into the jar which it tried but failed.. it started to crawl on the sand. I knocked over a big rock trying to catch it. Turned on my LED lights full blast.. stunned it and I quickly made a grab for it...

    I also knew I had a bobbit worm in my tank but I only once saw the head... I didn't think it would be TOO much of a bother until my golden rhomboid suddenly disappeared last week. :( I knew then after I caught the bristle, I HAD To catch the bobbit so although I know the jar wouldn't work but PERHAPS it could lure the bugger out... so I continue leaving pieces of scallop into the jar... and sure enough.. last night at 1130pm during the moonlight phase, I used a torch light covered with a red plastic bag ( red light from what I was told does not scare of these creatures..) AND I SPOTTED THe bristle worm!!!

    Part of the worm was extending out to the sand and man it retracts like LIGHTNING, really a blink of an eye. you wouldn't be able to siphon it out unless as some other reefer said you had a 100HP suction pump! LOL

    Anyway I shouted for Ketchup, and we decided there and then to get the bugger out even if that means tearing down part of our rockscape to do so. Basically the worm was lodged in the BASE rock of one of our supports of our zoos overhang and the base rock also had our RBTA which sadly became a casualty of bobbit worm war.

    We took the rock out, placed it in a pail and brought it to our backyard where we dosed the rock with my Waste water from the RO/DI unit. Saw the worm falling out ... but to make sure we really killed the bugger, we boiled a pot of water, said sorry to the anemone and dosed the whole rock in the pail with HOT WATER to make sure it was really DEAD as a Dodo.

    THrew out the rock after that sealed in one of our many Spare D&D salt tubs.

    NOw.. from disgusting news to more happy news :)

    We have added 3foot long x 2 foot wide x 20 inches high tank linked to our main tank sump. :) Front panel crystal glass. Currently using a Par38 to temporarily light it up.

    WE have already bought a unit of the ORPHEK PR156W module and currently trying to find someone who can help us drill the hanging hooks into the ceiling. Will provide pics and a user's review of it when I finally get it up and running.

    This tank is gonna be predominantly an angel and SPS with zoos tank. WE already have 3 dwarf angels ( Fisherie, Coral Beauty and Flame) which as you can see from the pics below are all in beta boxes waiting to be released at the same time to lower the risk of aggression.

    We used Tahitian BLack Sand and we cycled dead rock we got from Irwarna for the rockscape. After Mr bobbit and Bristle, no more LR for us... gonna spend the time cycling Dead rock. :)

    Currently, there are 2 sand shifter starfish, 1 sallylight foot crab, 3 banggai cardinals, 1 cleaner wrasse and 1 yellow wrasse in the 3 footer.

    Our Target release date of the prisoners is this weekend. ;)
