Re-arranged my tank. Removed all the coral chip and add-in some grade 3 sand. Put in 1 pc of mature LR and some salt water from office tank . Hope it will reduce my cycling process.

Do I need a wavemaker for my tank as I already have some water outflow from my canister filter.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to marine set up.

My tank already set up for 1.1/2 months.

There are bubbles on the rock and sand bed and also the rock turn brown in colour.

Can anybody please advice.

I'm using Coralife Hydrometer & AZOO to test my SG. However both of them given me a diff SG level...pls advise (see pix attached). The water temp is 26-26.5C.

I used to keep a orange spot filein my 5 footer, and the problem with it is it will nip on my LPS and SPs.

After a month a fustration , I decided to catch is out and I tried to catch it for 3 hours and cannot catch it and end up I think it had

a heart attauck from the 3 hour chase and died.

Orang spotn file is super easy to keep.

Good luck and remember that putting a fish in is easy , but takning it ou t is difficult.

I'm new to marine fish tank. I just set up a 10g nano tank, now still cycling my water.

The spec of my tank :-

1 x Resun CL450

1 x Jebo 835 (1000L/hr)

2 x 24W T5 light (1 white & 1 blue)

1 x Wooden air bubble protein skimmer (not sure good enough or not)

Hope to get some advise.

Intend to get the following LS :-

1 Maroon Clown or 2 Percular Clown + 1 Anamone

1 Blue Green Mandarin

1 Wrasser

2 tube worm

2 Boxer Shrimp

1 Star Fish (small size)

1 Sea Cucumber

some Coral ( not decided what type)
