SPS (in lightyears future) i was thinking of aquablue special x 2 or Sun Pro + blue plus? or sun Pro + aquablue special? im abit do-do in lightings...
  2. bro... do remember to wait for me k... i most prob ONz. am trying to see if i have time to go SL tower later...

  5. i've got 2 fuzzy dwarf lions... kept them for abt 3-4 months already... (with blue eyes) will be letting go of them... as i have to clear my tanks (can only have 1 tank)... interested?? size approx less than 2". Both look like brothers... eating well on tiger barbs... PM for more info...
  6. thanks man... guessed as much... can i up the price by $1?? hahaha (just kidding only!) first come first serve...
  7. hey bro... smsed you, no replies leh... anyway, if no show... can call me? i can collect (as long as not in the west end of singapore)
  8. replied liao... sorry, for the delay...
  9. Hardy??? yes, definitely... you dun need to monitor water parameters so closely... easier to care, but bro, you will probably need to know more abt them first... (the link i posted previously, gives quite a fair bit of information on mantis shrimp)... selling price... honestly, depends on buyer. Offer me something fair (as long as he/she can take care of this mantis, its fine) as mentioned, its lower than any LFS outside, otherwise money back GUARANTEE!
  10. Ah... well done! you paid alot of chiller? juz curious... how come you didnt consider running a sump?? thot it may be easier in terms of maintenance...
  11. Wah... your water temp is 25C only... i thot the light above is MH?? can you advice how you keep the temp so low?
  12. IMO, i dun think so... have never tried putting it with an eel before... but i ever put this together with a couple of dwarf lions, the lions survived... but to be on the safe side, better not...
  13. this is selling CHEAP! definitely cheaper than anywhere LFS! or else money back gurantee!
  14. Eh... read this for more info... http://www.blueboard.com/mantis/pics/sn_ods.htm the one in the pic is exactly what ive got. Note: this is 101% NOT reef safe. takes live feed... but a wonderful creature to watch... (especially when it feeds!)
  15. Dear bros and sistas.. With much regret, i have to let go of my mantis... ( Just added a slighly bigger tank in my room... now there are like 3-4 tanks (small tanks) and my mum demanded that i can only have 1 main one, the rest have to "THROW"! thus, i will be putting up sales slowly, but surely... 1st to go will be my peacock mantis, bought for abt 2months. anyone wants to offer me a fair price? or do a swop??? I need to sell off this baby by this weekend... (otherwise, this guy goes to the dining table or will be given to LFS...)
  16. you can get them @ serangoon north. around the corner... near to R*inb@w...
  17. actually work doesn't necessary equate to bonus also...
  18. Can I reserve the brain first?? can you tell me roughly how big it is? where to preview and collect?
  19. Oooo... by then when the LR goes in, no prob already, coz the current will be dispersed before it reaches your DSB.
  20. hahaha... put a LR there to break the current?
  21. How's the closed loop functioning? Theoritically, it seems like a good way of creating in-tank currents without a powerhead within, ain't it? Seen your new tank setup. Very nicely done! A larger version of what im planning to do... Btw: you using eheim pumps?
  22. eh, the brand of pumps not determine yet. yes you are right, im planning for 2 individual return pipes/pumps. However, there's a fellow reefer was giving me another idea of "closed loop". so, its something worth considering.. (in a nutshell), this pump basically draws water from main tank and pumps it back directly without going thru the sump+filteration...etc etc... I.A.W, it acts as a powerhead which does not sit within the tank. yes, its possible to have the overflow box at the entire back length of the tank. However, i just thot its quite a waste of the entire length, besides, the weight in this box maybe heavier, the support of the stand needs to be re-thought. (this design certainly gives good viewing scape.) Honestly, its going to take awhile to build this tank up, the thrill about this hobby is in the "process"... hehe... then enjoy the end-product! (but then again... this WILL NEVER end...)
