Good flow. And good lighting. But not direct flow. Just enough to keep the mantle waving gently. Croceas need high intensity light. Maximas and Squammies not so high intensity but still need good light. Derasa seemed to be the last demanding for light in my tank.

Too much lighting can also cause clams to bleach. Or a sudden change in light intensity. Clams need to be acclimatise as well to your tank lighting. But it will recover as it acclimatises.
