My CV10k SE Bulb also fits easily into mine E40 socket.
guess u r one of the lucky guys that got the "newer" version of the bulb ... according to our supplier !!

Well, with the help of X-Japan, I can safely confirm that the new version CV bulbs can fit your mogul socket.
BEats me too !! -
But, it is not the case because the current version of CV SE bulbs cannot fit into the mogul sockets of some reefers, primarily because they are using E-39 socket. I have highlighted the issue to the manufacturer and he has agreed to solve the problem, starting from the next shipment.
I'm using E40 ... also cannot fit !

I trained my own dogs but nowadays no time anymore to train newer tricks.

juz a suggestion :
IMO , if u r moving into SPS , even for LPS ... get a CA reactor .... save u lots of time n effort .

i did it the lazy way !!!
I measured the tank PH , Alk n Calcium after lights off .( take note of time !!) .... Turn the CA reactor on , setup a "typical' CO2 bubble count n effluent drip rate . (EG : 1bubble /2 sec , 50ml/min ) .....
Take the water parameters again at the same time the following day or 2 !!! ( ps: this might not be really accurate, got to allow for the CA reactor to settle down ..ie time )
Compare the readings to those u have before u turn on the CA reactor
Work accordingly towards your goal of optimum ALK N CALCIUM !
It's a trial n error thingy !

hey guys ,
I wouldn't do that if u were in Old Trafford !! ( but that was Old trafford
... not Red devil cafe/bar in Singapore ! 
).... the atmosphere in Old Trafford is REALLY daunting !!!! You can get into serious trouble !! I was there for the Man U vs Man City FA cup ...... it was really a great game though ! 
I saw 2 City supporters being escorted out just when City score their 1st goal cos they were in the United supporters area !!! U got to be there to see n feel it ....
