  1. That is a very budget setup, nice work! Hope your cabinet is sturdy enough to take the weight of the tank. How long have you set this up?
  2. How are you guys doing? Old time reefers still around?
  3. Nice frag tank. Can see that it is well thought out.
  4. Lol... I never left. Just keeping things simple, small and low maintenance.
  5. 100 Hwee Bin is one of the nicest reefers that I know.
  6. True Perc collected. Thanks for your interest. Thread closed
  7. Hey Larry, it's more for finding a new home for the little guy. Thanks for the offer!
  8. As stated in the title. True perc has been with me for more than 6 mths. 1.5" in length. No pics, already caught and placed in betta box. Healthy and one tough nut. Feeding on pellets. Not afraid of my hand and feeds from it too. Collection Pasir Ris. Pls PM me your contact to arrange.
  9. Lol... my bad. I have a 60W model, hence the confusion. Goes to show I'm a little out of touch now with reefing stuff. If Maxspect continues with the same concept as the Mazzarra series, then yes, fans will only be activated if the lightset gets too hot.
  10. You have a fan on a Razor...? It doesn't have a fan. It works by passive cooling. You probably got a Mazarra instead of a razor? If you can take photos of your lightset, we may be able to ID for you.
  11. A very well thought out set up, beautiful scape and fancy corals. Love the diver idea and the yellow interior of the cabinet. Looking forward to more updates.
  12. Interesting design for the fuge. But I can bet you it'll end up being a frag tank.
  13. Are those peppermint shrimp? I can't see very clearly from the photos, so I can't confirm.
  14. I was there yesterday around this time, but those were camel shrimp and not peppermint. Pls kindly take note. Very different impact in your reef.
  15. The recommended maximum glass thickness is approx 9.5mm, so this explains why it could not work on 12mm. I've personally tried on 10mm and it works fine though. You could try to remove the rubber gasket from the wet side to see if it helps, but I wouldn't recommend it as it may scratch your glass if you are not careful. Also, if you plan to run it at maximum speed, vibrations may cause it to drop too.
  16. Does anyone enjoy reading resurrected dead threads with deliberate 2 consecutive posts to increase one's post count? I know I don't.

Was about to post it when I saw your post.

Managed to single out 3 culprits (kfc, gstar, calvinming) all with the same style of writing and under 100 posts. Mods hope you can look into it (multi-nicking).

Not to forget the "jasongo" too his signature word is ""Nice"" or "Thumbsup"..in every single thread

  17. Well, the tingling sensation should be caused by salt to your wound rather than stray current...
  18. The longer end might be inserted into the LED module. If swapping doesn't work, then it really is a shorter stand.
  19. Isn't it adjustable? Have you tried swapping the ends?
  20. Mind if I asked, what made you decide to supplement the Razor with T5s?
  21. I thought you were using scrubber system? How come there are still clusters of hair algae?
  22. You can also get it from Daiso at the gardening section. Its black in colour, about an A4 size sheet.
  23. No clue. Best to do a search on that.
