Sad to say that my clam had up the lorry since after it has detached the byssal. Condition was getting worse by each day. Will get a replacement when I got time to do the shopping.

I have a corcea clam which bought about 2 weeks ago. Today, noticed that a portion of dead flesh detached which came from the bottom of the shelf where it sat. However, the clam seems to look alright; can open and contract. Did anyone encounter such a problem before? Is it normal?

Yes, I am using aquazonic t5 fixture and dose additives from AquaPharm brand.
