Another batch of eggs were laid today. On the wall again... =.= This time round, I'll try to fish out the babies when they hatch.

Unfortunately this time is on the tank wall. So cannot remove eggs. Hopefully next batch they will lay eggs on rock instead. Will try raise them in separate tank though culturing live rotifers can be challenging in the office.

Day 10. The eggs must have hatched over the weekends but I was not in office. By today, can't spot any egg or baby fish...and all articles I read talked about raising the young in nursery tank. So I harbor no hope of any survivor by now.

Hi bro/sis, is there anyone out there who have experience raising clownfish babies? Can I have some advice? Today is day 7 since I spotted the clownfish eggs. By today, I think I can see the baby fish with those obvious eyes and shiny heads in those eggs (taking into consideration my eyesight not very good). Too bad I only have my iphone with me today and it totally sucks when taking photos zoomed in. But I have my colleagues ard to confirm what I see. So I guess hatching day is near. What do you think of the chances any baby fish will survive in the main tank by hiding among the nearby palys colony? Will the parents guard them against the six line wrasse and shrimps? I'm sure the babies will not be able to make it should they swim out of the palys colony and into the open water. Either eaten or suck into the overflow. Hope their natural instinct will help them stay inside the palys, as if staying inside anemone. And I'm pretty sure I'll kill them all if I were to take them out and try keep them in separate tank. They should have higher chance by staying with their parents in main tank with stable water condition. Lastly, about food. Do they eat only live rotifers? Or I can feed them with oyster feast or any other food too? Really hope I can at least keep one or two babies alive...

Bro, now I truly appreciate the meaning of stable frags. All 3 frags I got from u last have sprouted new polyps. In fact, pink panther has 3rd baby sprouting. From 2 polyps to 5 in one month, I'm impressed with its growth rate. Got time must visit u again. Up for u.

This evening spotted my maroon clown fanning and protecting some eggs lookalike things on the tank wall. Bro/sis with keen eyes, maybe you can help me identify if these are clownfish eggs. Sorry, it's rather far as my iphone cannot zoom in for video.

I think live rocks n sand after a good wash should be ok bah. Not sure what experienced bros here think. But no matter what, change all the water. Then go through the proper cycling process. After cycling, add lifestock slowly. Make sure the first batch can survive first.
