  1. Hmmm... looks 50kg to me, pardon me if im wrong. Its a huge bucket, 70%-80% filled. Bought it, but never used it. Its rather heavy for me to haul tis around thats why i rather deal in Serangoon MRT.
  2. Coralife salt 50kg bucket for S$50. Self collect at Serangoon MRT on sat morning
  3. Whatever happened to the good old undergravel filter? I had a tank some 12 years ago based loosely on undergravel filtration and live rocks. It lasted me forever! And i knew then the undergravel was the life line of the aquarium, the very heartbeat of its survival. It seems so much have changed in this reefing hobby. Can someone help me to understand this debate on DSB vs Undergravel. Isn't the DSB a timebomb waiting to happen?
  4. WoW, things have changed so much. Im still in the undergravel era. Im so new to all this DSB. My last setup, which was some 12 years ago and it was undergravel and live rocks; and it lasted me 10 years. It was then either live rocks or copper. I was the first few who brought in huge counter-current protein skimmers to use as i cant find them in spore. Looks like ive got lots to catch up. Thanks for a wonderful forum. ps. somehow, isnt a DSB a timebomb waiting to go off? How does it help to mature a tank?
  5. Thanks AT for the link. His system is out of this world!
  6. Nice looking... except it's lacking a theme. A glance at it tells u its a segment of a beautiful reef. I too have a dream of creating a tank that themes around anemone and clown fishes.
  7. Well Well, i'm single and i figure a tank is always a great attraction to invite the date home
  8. clap clap clap Congrats AT, i think this is one of the nicest aquarium ive seen. Hi AT and gang. Im new here, and this is my very first post. Ive been a keen reef hobbyist for a longest time i can remember. I had various tanks of different sizes. I cleared them out shortly before i went overseas and this was some 12 years ago when Reborn was in their first premise in Pasir Panjang. I remember those days when taking buses to go see the grouchy man was all i wanted to do. I will be starting a new project soon when i move to a more permanent place in Jan, an open (non-eurobridge) 2.5 feet cube tank. I will like to keep only anemones and different clown fishes. I understand these fellows are territorial and i will have to build a difficult landscape to house them under one "roof". I will need all the help i can get from all of you. Im also into scuba diving and UW photography. I am presently saving for a Light and Motion housing for my Olympus3040.
